Years
of continuous independent practice
My primary client was ieDigital, a UK fintech serving banks, building societies and motor finance lenders. Over four years I handled its content and executive communications. I wrote the CEO's speeches and the emails telling staff about redundancies, created and hosted The Shape of Money podcast, and wrote 81 articles, 8 press releases and 15 case studies for the sales team – 5 written from scratch, 10 revised.
I also worked on the design and copy of ieDigital's 2018 rebrand with the in-house designer, and produced wireframes for the next stage. The rebrand was shortlisted for Best Rebrand at the Credit Awards 2019.
For 15 months I built the English-language content programme for Aito, a Finnish machine-learning startup: 35 pieces – 33 blog articles, a customer case study and homepage copy – translating technical ML into buyer-facing prose. I ghostwrote 12 pieces for four executives, including nine articles under the co-founder's name.
Other clients included Indeed (45 articles for its UK employer hub, through an agency), Intel, Plumery, 11:FS, 10x Banking and Atos. At ieDigital and Aito I was embedded, accountable for the editorial line, working as if I were in the building.
